Line 92
(Downtown Los Angeles - Burbank via Brand & Glenoaks Blvds.)
Line 183
(Magnolia Blvd. - Glendale)
Line 234
(Sepulveda Blvd.)
Line 183 was proposed to be rerouted between Burbank and Glendale; the stated goal was to provide direct connectivity between North Hollywood Station and the downtown business districts of Burbank and Glendale. Service would have been extended to Eagle Rock Plaza, and the routing to Glendale Metrolink Station eliminated.

As originally proposed, service would have operated on San Fernando Rd. instead of Glenoaks Blvd. and would have continued to serve Glendale Metrolink Station:

The Governance Council approved the inclusion in the public hearing of an alternate proposal to cancel Line 183; service between North Hollywood Station and downtown Burbank on Magnolia Blvd. would have been replaced with an extension of Line 92, and between Sherman Oaks and North Hollywood Station with an extension of Line 234.

After the public hearing, staff withdrew both proposals from consideration, citing the need for further study. However, citing the fact that proposals have been brought forward -- then withdrawn -- three times previous (2005, 2007 and 2008) the Council directed staff to complete their research and bring forward a proposal in a future service change program to resolve all of the issues that have arisen in the past. Staff had intended for this to be part of the December, 2011 service change program, but the city of Glendale subsequently announced that they planned to make changes to the Beeline system and the Council was advised at its May meeting that the impact of those changes would need to be taken into account before a new proposal can be drafted.
