Lines 161-422
(Downtown L.A. - Warner Center - Thousand Oaks)
Line 161 was identified as being a candidate for replacement with expanded bidirectional service on Line 422. Two options were discussed: (1) Minor reroute to serve Universal City Station (shown below); (2) Shorten line to operate between Thousand Oaks Transit Center and Warner Center Transit Hub. Replacement of Line 161 with Line 422 could also require a shuttle between Warner Center and Calabasas, similar to the Line 668 shuttle proposed in 1995. Never formally proposed for implementation.
