Line 240 (Ventura Blvd. - Reseda Blvd.)
Western terminal of Line 150 proposed to be shortened at Warner Center to reduce service duplication along Topanga Canyon Blvd., and some Line 240 service proposed to be converted to Study Line S-1, providing limited stop service on Reseda Blvd. and express service to Westwood. Both proposals withdrawn by staff after the public hearing.
Public Comment and (Staff Response):
- Want to maintain connection with Sherman Way; suggest extending the route past Sherman Way to Chatsworth Station (change would preclude restructuring Lines 243 and 245)
- Opposed to the reallocation of trips on Line 240 to support new S-1 because it required a reduction in existing service (Reseda Blvd. Rapid in June, 2006 may incorporate elements of S-1)
