Line 168 (Lassen St. - Paxton St.)
Original proposal was to cancel service. Replaced after the public hearing with a proposal converting Line 168 to weekday peak hour-only service and shortening the line at its western end at Chatsworth Transportation Center; also realigned via Laurel Canyon Blvd. in Arleta and route deviation added past Northridge Fashion Center via Corbin Ave. - Plummer St. - Tampa Ave.
Public Comment and (Staff Response):
- Two petitions with a total of 253 signatures were submitted opposing the cancellation of Lines 168, 245, 418 and 426; the majority of the signatures referred specifically to Line 168 (new proposal submitted)
- Only service available to travel to work and run errands; inconvenienced if they were forced to transfer and walk (see above comment)
- Link Lines 156 and 168 (to be considered in future service changes)
