Line 230 (Laurel Canyon Blvd.)
Selected trips proposed to be extended from Sylmar Metrolink Station via Hubbard Street to Mission College during weekday peak periods, to provide a new option to access the college directly from the transit hub in Sylmar and allow service levels to the college to be maintained (due to reductions in Line 234 service for proposed Metro Rapid Line 734). Approved, but implementation delayed due to postponement of Line 734 implementation; it was finally implemented as Line 634 -- similar to a previously-proposed Line 632 shuttle -- on June 25, 2006 (and will be reconsidered for conversion into a Line 230 extension in the future). LADOT has since proposed a Hubbard/Sayre DASH route using a similar alignment.
