Line 230 (Laurel Canyon Blvd.)
Selected trips proposed to be extended from Sylmar Metrolink Station via Hubbard Street to Mission College during weekday peak periods, to provide a new option to access the college directly from the transit hub in Sylmar and allow service levels to the college to be maintained (due to reductions in Line 234 service for proposed Metro Rapid Line 734). Approved, but implementation delayed due to postponement of Line 734 implementation; it was finally implemented as Line 634 -- similar to a previously-proposed Line 632 shuttle -- on June 25, 2006 (and was finally made into a Line 230 extension June 26, 2011). LADOT has also proposed a Hubbard/Sayre DASH route using a similar alignment, but it remains unfunded and is not likely to be implemented.
