Line 243 (De Soto Ave. - Ventura Blvd. - Winnetka Ave.)
Split into two route segments and recombined: Line 243 service on Winnetka Ave. linked with the Tampa Ave. segment of Line 154 (renumbered Line 242) as a loop route, consolidating terminal at Porter Ranch; De Soto Ave. segment numbered Line 244 and linked to the Topanga Canyon Boulevard segment of restructured Line 245.
Public Comment and (Staff Response):
- Keep service along Wilbur Ave. and Chatsworth St. (will be investigated)
- Keep route deviation on Tampa Ave. to Northridge Metrolink Station (patrons are primarily using DASH Northridge to access the station)
- Combine Winnetka Ave. with Topanga Canyon Blvd. (not recommended since the purpose is to consolidate terminals and improve access to Porter Ranch Town Center)
- Loop through Northridge Fashion Center (not recommended since the mall requested the removal of service from Shirley Ave. in the past)
