Implemented February 15, 1998 as a shuttle connecting Studio City to West Hollywood via Laurel Canyon Blvd. - Fairfax Ave. - 3rd St.
One route change was made from the original proposal. As originally proposed, Line 218 would have operated via Sunset Blvd. to Fairfax Ave.
