Line 422 (Thousand Oaks - Warner Center - Downtown L.A. Express)
Implemented February 16, 1998 as a modified reverse-direction version of Line 423, with a new segment through Warner Center added, direct freeway routing between Warner Center and Agoura Hills, and an extension to the Thousand Oaks Transit hub at Oaks Mall via Thousand Oaks Blvd. replacing routing to the Newbury Park park-ride lot. The schedule has been tweaked by LADOT over the intervening years; about half the westbound morning trips now operate only as far as Warner Center, and one-half of those trips do not originate in downtown Los Angeles. (20% of the afternoon eastbound trips only operate between Warner Center and downtown.)
