Line 154 (Tampa Ave. - Oxnard St. - Burbank Blvd.)
Proposed to be realigned via Ventura Blvd. through Encino to White Oak Ave., then via Line 239 alignment to Granada Hills, with new Line 238 to operate Tampa Ave. route segment between Northridge and Tarzana. Never implemented.
- Originally proposed to be replaced by Line 665 in Porter Ranch.
- New alignment proposed in 1997 through Encino and Sherman Oaks (also shown on the Metro Red Line Bus/Rail Interface maps). Never implemented.
- Variation of Line 238 proposal implemented as Line 242 as part of Metro Orange Line restructuring June 26, 2005.
- Weekend service was canceled June 24, 2007. The remaining service was proposed for cancellation in June, 2008 but was rejected by the governance council in favor of an alternate proposal continuing the same service levels.
