Line 161 (Canoga Park - Calabasas - Westlake Village)
Proposed to be replaced with all-day and weekend service on LADOT Line 423 and new Line 668 shuttle. Never implemented due to objections from LADOT and the union representing MTA's drivers. Weekend Line 161 service between Woodland Hills and Westlake Village implemented June 30, 1996.
- Eastern terminal moved to the Warner Center Transit Hub as part of Metro Orange Line changes June 26, 2005.
- Replacement of Line 161 with Line 422 is under discussion as part of the Metro Connections program.
