Line 163 (Sherman Way)
- Proposed realignment at east end via Vineland Ave. - San Fernando Rd. - Hollywood Way, then via Line 212 route to Hollywood. Implemented June 25, 1995.
- Proposed realignment at west end of route to Warner Center via Owensmouth St., with replacement service betwen Canoga Park and West Hills provided by new Line 669 shuttle. Never implemented, originally due to delays in establishing a transit center at Warner Center, but difficulty in establishing shuttle lines caused entire proposal to be shelved.
- Alternate alignment to North Hollywood Station proposed during Metro Red Line Bus/Rail Interface in 2000, removed from consideration after the public hearing; a similar proposal is scheduled for implementation December 18, 2011.
- Proposed realignment via original route at east end, terminating at Burbank Airport, was discussed as part of Metro Connections.
- Proposed combination of route between Burbank Airport and Hollywood with portion of Line 156 was discussed as part of Metro Connections; the first phase, separation of the original Line 212 route and connecting San Fernando Rd. route segment into new Line 222, was implemented June 29, 2008.
