Line 640 (Van Nuys-Panorama City Circulator)
Bi-directional loop connecting the Van Nuys Central Business District with the Panorama City area. LADOT's Panorama City-Van Nuys DASH route -- implemented on January 18, 1999 -- was based in part on this proposal.
The Line 640 designation was also used by MTA for one of its post-earthquake "emergency express" lines in 1994, while the SFVTRS was being completed.
