Line 94 (San Fernando Rd. - Downtown L.A.)

1. Proposed to be replaced by new Line 631 shuttle between Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink Station and Olive View Hospital. Never implemented; "Smart Shuttle" service replaced route segment to/from Juvenile Hall from July 26, 1998 until September 28, 2001.
2. Proposed realignment in Burbank Airport area. Never implemented.
3. Proposed new Line 394 limited-stop peak-hour service. Implemented December 29, 1996. Expanded to all-day, seven-days-a-week operation as part of Metro Connections December 17, 2006 (then replaced by Metro Rapid service June 30, 2008).
4. Route proposed for cutback to Spring/11th. Implemented June 18, 2006 as part of restructuring when Spring St. contraflow bus lane eliminated south of 1st St. and Lines 94-394 realigned to Hill St.

• Line 394 originally proposed to continue to Santa Clarita.

• Extension in peak hours via Foothill Blvd. to Balboa Blvd. proposed in 2003 service change program. Alternate proposal to extend Line 236 to Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink Station implemented instead.
• Line 94 replaced between Sun Valley and Sylmar by new Line 224 -- also incorporating Lankershim Blvd. portion of Line 166 -- as part of Metro Connections December 17, 2006. It was re-extended to Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink Station June 29, 2008.
• Metro Rapid service -- replacing Line 394 -- was implemented June 30, 2008.
