- Proposed new Line 394 limited-stop peak-hour service. Implemented December 29, 1996; expanded to all-day, seven-days-a-week operation as part of Metro Connections December 17, 2006 (then replaced by Metro Rapid service June 30, 2008).
- Route proposed for cutback to Spring/11th. Implemented June 18, 2006 as part of restructuring when the Spring St. contraflow bus lane eliminated south of 1st St. and Lines 94-394 realigned to Hill St.

Line 94 service to Sylmar Juvenile Hall, cancelled December 26, 1994, was restored by an alternate route which was implemented June 11, 1995. As noted above, it was replaced by Smart Shuttle service three years later.

- Metro Rapid Lines 724 and 794 -- replacing Line 394 -- was implemented June 30, 2008.
